High Wire Distilling Owners & FIG are James Beard Award Finalists
The James Beard Foundation today announced the finalists for their 2019 awards and, despite being well-represented in the semi-finals, Charleston only mustered two nominees.
For the sixth straight year, FIG was chosen as a finalist in the Outstanding Wine Program category. The restaurant won this category last year.
Scott Blackwell and Ann Marshall of High Wire Distilling Company jointly moved on in the Outstanding Wine, Spirits, or Beer Producer category. This is the first time they have been chosen as finalists.
The 2019 James Beard Awards Gala will take place on Monday, May 6th in Chicago.
