Junior League of Charleston Announces Leadership Institute Event
The Junior League of Charleston (JLC) will host a public leadership training through the JLC Leadership Institute. The event will be held on April 9th from 6:30 pm to 9 pm in the Island Park Room at the Laura Alberts Restaurant (891 Island Park Drive, Daniel Island). It is free and open to the public.
In this frank and funny conversation, presenter Lisa Beth Adams with Practical Dramatics will provide a revolutionary way to speak well about one’s self. Too frequently, individuals – women, in particular – lack confidence to speak accurately and assertively about their skills, abilities, and knowledge. Attendees will receive a template to better frame their personal brand during this interactive event, the format of which is designed to promote collaborative problem-solving.
This unique event supports a portion of the JLC’s mission, which is to develop the potential of women within the Lowcountry. The JLC hopes that community members take advantage of this great training opportunity with Lisa Beth Adams and opportunity to further build one’s own personal brand. Registration is required.
