Cornhole For a Cause to Benefit Three Local Charities
The Rotary Club of St. Andrews – Charleston is hosting the third annual Cornhole For a Cause benefiting three local charities. The event is 11 am to 4 pm on Saturday, April 27th at Magnolia Park & Community Garden in West Ashley.
Two-person teams can register for $50 per team (includes T-shirt). Team registration the day of the event is $75. In addition to the cornhole tournament, there will be music, food trucks, and beer available for purchase. There is no fee to attend and watch the tournament.
The goal is raise $10,000 to benefit three nonprofits:
- Charleston Parks Conservancy, which works to create, expand, sustain and reinvigorate the city’s urban parks
- Lowcountry Orphan Relief, which provides support services and aid to Lowcountry children at-risk or suffering from abandonment, abuse and/or neglect
- Pattison’s Academy, which improves the quality of life for children with multiple disabilities by providing comprehensive education and rehabilitation programs
