Swig & Swine Summerville Re-Opened Thursday
Popular barbecue joint Swig & Swine today officially re-opened its Summerville location after a ten-month reconstruction due to a June 2018 fire that left over a quarter of the restaurant badly damaged, causing the restaurant to close indefinitely.
“A fire is a humbling experience to say the least,” Anthony DiBernardo, Pitmaster and Owner of Swig & Swine, said. “In my line of work you have a tendency to think you control the fire when it’s actually the other way around. It’s been the longest ten months, but we’re so thrilled to get back to work in Summerville and serve our awesome guests!”
The restaurant will be open regular business hours, Monday through Sunday from 11 am to 10 pm, moving forward.
Swig & Swine has four locations across the Lowcountry, including in downtown Charleston, West Ashley, Mount Pleasant and Summerville.
