Hotel Bennett Offering Two Mother’s Day Culinary Experiences
On May 12th, Hotel Bennett will celebrate Mother’s Day with two culinary experiences: an elegant brunch crafted by celebrated chef Michael Sichel at the hotel’s signature restaurant, Gabrielle Charleston; and a special Afternoon Tea at Charleston’s premier champagne and caviar bar, Camellias.
At Gabrielle, Chef Sichel will showcase his sophisticated cuisine, which balances European flair and traditional Southern fare. Among the menu items are Smoked Salmon, Melon & Prosciutto, French Omelet, and Eggs “Bennett,” accompanied by freshly baked pastries and handmade desserts from renowned French pastry chef Remy Funfrock. The elegant-yet-lively restaurant offers two-story dining with expansive views of Marion Square, as well as outdoor dining on a sweeping terrace.
Mother’s Day Brunch at Gabrielle begins at 11 am and concludes at 3 pm. It is priced at $65 per person and $25 for children 12 years and under. Reservations can be made by calling 843-990-5400, at www.GabrielleDining.com or via OpenTable.
Inspired by a Fabergé jewel box, Camellias is offering a special Sunday Afternoon Mother’s Day Tea. The wrought-iron and glass doors will open to serve traditional a wide variety of teas accompanied by decadent confections and savory tastings. Camellias will also offer a Crown Tea, which features a flute of premium rosé champagne.
The reservation window for Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea at Camellias is between 2 pm and 2:30 pm. It is priced at $48 per person for Camellias Tea and $59 for Crown Tea. Reservations can be made by calling 843-990-5400.
