Charleston Women Purge Closets, Earn Cash, and Give Back to Charity
Ladies, it’s time to turn your closet clutter into cash and give back to an awesome cause! Charleston Style Exchange (CSE), the 11th semi-annual upscale women’s consignment sale event, will be held inside the Citadel Mallfrom May 16th to 18th and benefits two local charities. The event is free to attend and open to the public.
You can make money selling your new and gently worn clothes you no longer need and shop the closets of other women for a fraction of retail prices. Fashionistas will see hot list labels like Tory Burch, Kate Spade, Lilly Pulitzer, St. John, Stella McCartney, Trina Turk, Coach, and many more. VIP shopping (before the doors are open to the public) is available 6 pm to 9 pm on the evening of May 16th for volunteers, consignors, military and education professionals, and through the purchase of charity tickets.
Consignors can earn 65-75% of their total sales, get a VIP shopping pass, and help out two local charities, but registration is limited, so hurry. CSE will be donating the unsold items to East Cooper Community Outreach (for consignors who choose to donate). All of the proceeds from VIP charity ticket sales will also go to the non-profit. The organization provides more than 4,500 families per year with emergency assistance by providing food, clothing, household items, job training and skills, and much more.
Additionally, when you purchase something marked with an ORANGE tag, know that 100% of your money is going to support Dragon Boat Charleston. The organization promotes physical and mental wellness for cancer survivors and their families through dragon boating.
CSE runs each day from 9 am to 9 pm. Visit the official website for more information: www.charlestonstyleexchange.
