King Charles Inn and the Piccolo Spoleto Festival Present Edgar Allan Poe Reading and Tour

In conjunction with the Piccolo Spoleto Festival, the King Charleston Hotel is offering guests a special “A Dream Within a Dream” experience, an opportunity to see the city through the eyes and mind of Edgar Allan Poe on select dates in May and June.

Piccolo Spoleto hosts the “A Dream Within a Dream” event at the hotel’s BREW Pub & Café. The event includes a 30-minute reading by Poe reenactor Braxton Williams and a 90-minute walking tour through the city. Guests can enjoy tales of lost love and stories of Poe’s lifelong obsession with Charleston.

On every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from May 24th and June 9th, this event will be available beginning at 4:30 pm. Tickets for the event are $25 and bookings can be made via this link.
