82 Queen to Host Special Four Course Whiskey Dinner
On Thursday, June 20th, 82 Queen will host a four-course Whiskey Dinner featuring pork-centric dishes by Executive Chef Steve Stone complete with rare whiskey pairings.
The event is set to begin at 6:30 pm with light hors d’oeuvres followed by a four-course dinner showcasing creative “head-to-tail” pork dishes and respective whiskey pairings for $75 per person. You can see the full menu here.
“Whiskey and pork are the perfect pairing this time of year as the sweetness of bourbon cuts the fat of pork,” Queen Street Hospitality CEO Jonathan Kish said. “We are excited to offer this special dinner to kick off our summer dining series.”
A portion of the sales from the Whiskey Dinner will go towards Catch Up on Lunch, a fundraising effort to help eliminate student lunch debt in Charleston, Dorchester, and Berkeley counties. Queen Street Hospitality restaurants, including 82 Queen and Swig & Swine, recently donated a check of over $17,000 to Catch Up on Lunch through a series of Spirit Nights hosted to raise money for the non-profit.
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here. The $75 per person ticket does not include tax and gratuity and the special dinner will be capped at 30 tickets sold.
