Wild Common to Host Puerto Rico Pop-Up Dinner Series

Published

on

Chef Orlando Pagán of Wild Common is celebrating his Puerto Rican roots with a four-course dinner series to be held the last Sunday of each month this summer at the downtown restaurant. The first event will be held on June 30th.

From the Luquillo food kiosks to pristine beaches and the lush El Yunque rainforest, the expertly curated menus will offer a culinary tour inspired by the “Island of Enchantment.” Each of the four courses on the special tasting menu will showcase Pagán family recipes and traditional Puerto Rican favorites with rich flavors of the country’s culinary heritage rooted in Spain, Africa and the native Taínos.

Wild Common will also offer Piña Colada cocktail specials and a selection of Puerto Rican rums on the beverage menu during each event. The dinners are $65 per person and reservations are available via Resy. Allergies and dietary restrictions can be accommodated with advance notice.

A portion of proceeds from the dinner series will be donated to José Andres’ World Central Kitchen. Since Hurricane Maria in 2017, #ChefsForPuertoRico continues to remain active and has served over 3.6 million meals.
