LGBTLOL: A Night of Comedy at the Charleston Music Hall Set for Sept. 13
The Charleston Music Hall and Charleston Pride are once again partnering to host “LGBTLOL: A Night of Comedy” on Friday, September 13th at 8 pm. The show is a great way to kick off Pride Weekend.
The event showcases LGBTQ comedy in the south and includes comedians from Austin, Atlanta, Charlotte, Columbia, and the Holy City. Individual tickets are $15, but Charleston Pride members are offered discounted $10 tickets. A dinner add-on option is available for an additional $32. Tickets are on sale now!

- Ky Krebs
- Show headliner
- Austin, TX-based stand-up comedian
- His self-produced, self-titled album debuted at #2 on the iTunes Comedy Charts.
- He also recently recorded his second special, “Oops, All Gay Jokes” in June 2019
- He is the cohost of one of Austin’s most popular podcasts, Extra Salty
- Shawna Jarrett
- Local comedian
- Head comic on the Charleston Comedy Bus
- Host of The Get Up! comedy night (as well as a We Are Family alumnus)
- This is her 4th year performing at LGBTLOL, and her first year serving on the board of Charleston Pride
- Julie Osborne
- Atlanta-based comedian
- She started performing stand-up comedy in 2011
- Since 2012, she’s been hosting and producing comedy shows for the LGBT community all over Atlanta
- Ava Smartt
- Native Texan and trans woman
- Co-host of the podcast Gender Fluids
- Shaine Laine
- Up-and-coming comic from Charlotte
- Jenn Snyder
- Host
- Born and raised in Columbia
- Was last year’s LGBTLOL headliner
