A Celebration of Life for Richard “Box” Bachschmidt Set for Saturday at Tin Roof
The Charleston community is invited to come together at the Tin Roof in West Ashley on Saturday, June 29th for a celebration concert in memory of Richard “Box” Bachschmidt. The event begins at 5 pm.
Friends, family, and fans will gather at the venue to share memories of Box and enjoy live music from some of his favorite local bands.
Box was a well-known radio personality and ardent supporter of the local music scene. He worked for 105.5 The Bridge and 98 Rock before recently launching his own podcast, “Box in the Morning.” He died on June 26, 2018 at the age of 43. The first celebration of life was held on July 1, 2018 at The Royal American.
