City’s Annual First Day Festival Scheduled for August 18th
The City of Charleston will host the Annual First Day Festival on Sunday, August 18th, from 1 pm to 4 pm at Liberty Square, the South Carolina Aquarium, and Gadsdenboro Park. The event is a celebration of education and provides children and families with information on educational services in the community, as well as a fun day together.
Highlights of the festival include:
- Free admission to the SC Aquarium during the hours of the Festival (and one extra hour to 5 pm)
- Healthy Food Samples
- Kids Zone activities
- Free school supplies
- $1 parking at the SC Aquarium Garage & Gaillard Garage
The Festival hours are 1 to 4 pm and school supplies are available while they last.
