Local Marketing Agency Hosts 13th Annual CreateAthon Offering Free Services to Lowcountry Nonprofits

Trio Solutions Inc. (TRIO), a Mount Pleasant-based marketing communications agency, will work nonstop for 24 hours to provide free advertising and marketing services to Lowcountry nonprofits during its 13th annual CreateAthon on October 24-25, 2019.

CreateAthon is a 24-hour creative marathon started by Riggs Partners in Columbia more than 20 years ago. TRIO joined as the exclusive agency serving the Lowcountry in 2007 and has supported more than 60 nonprofits along the SC coast and has provided more than $500,000 in pro bono services.

TRIO will be accepting applications from Monday, July 8 until Friday, August 16. Applicants are required to fill out a form and submit a 60-second video on why their organization should be selected. Applications can be found on the company’s website at trio-solutions.com/createathon.

“CreateAthon is fun and creative way for our team to help nonprofits that have limited marketing budgets and could use additional support in order to continue the critical work they are providing within our community,” said Jenny Dennis, TRIO’s chief operating officer and creative director. “While we are honored to help our CreateAthon recipients, we are really grateful for the impact they have on our team as we get to experience what they do on a one-on-one basis. That’s the gift CreateAthon gives to us.”

Up to four organizations will be selected to take part in TRIO’s CreateAthon. An additional “People’s Choice” organization will also be chosen through TRIO’s social media channels beginning September 8. The final “People’s Choice” winner, along with the four other selected organizations, will be announced on September 16.

Selected organizations may receive services that include marketing and fundraising plans, logos, websites, postcards, banners, brand identity packages, website assessments and social media plans. Project scopes will vary based on the capacity of the TRIO team as well as the specific needs of the organizations.
