Water Mission Announces Visitation and Funeral Service for Co-Founder Molly Greene
Water Mission today announced the service dates and times for co-founder Molly Greene, who passed away on July 17th after a tragic accident.
This Sunday and Monday, the nonprofit will remember and celebrate Molly’s life. Details for the visitation and funeral service are listed below:
- Visitation
- Sunday, July 28th from 2 pm – 5 pm
- J. Henry Stuhr’s Downtown Chapel, 232 Calhoun Street, Charleston, 29401
- Funeral Service
- Monday, July 29th at 11 am
- St. Philip’s Church, 142 Church Street, Charleston, 29401
If you cannot attend, Water Mission will offer a livestream of the funeral service through a link on their website. The link will be available this weekend

The Water Mission headquarters will be closed on Monday so that the staff may attend the funeral and will re-open on Tuesday at 8 am.
Greene, along with her husband, George, started the nonprofit back in 2001. Since then, they have built more than 2,000 safe water stations throughout the world.
