South Carolina Aquarium to Host “Beer from Here” Event for Adults on August 16th

The South Carolina Aquarium invites adults to enjoy local brews and local wildlife at Beer From Here, the fourth of five After Hours events at the venue, on Friday, August 16th.

“After Hours is such a fun series of events because it allows guests to tour the Aquarium with a smaller crowd while savoring food and drink from local restaurants and breweries,” South Carolina Aquarium Event Sales Manager Nicole Principe said. “We often hear from parents that they don’t really get to experience the Aquarium themselves because they are so busy keeping an eye on their kids when they are here. After Hours events really give them and other adults an opportunity to enjoy it for themselves.”

Beer from Here will feature tasting stations from eight local breweries throughout the Aquarium, as well as sustainably-sourced small plates from our Good Catch partners. The all-inclusive ticket also includes additional bar refreshments, animal encounters, and the full Aquarium experience.
