Manny’s Mediterranean Grille Ceases Operations Under New Management

Published

on

Manny’s Mediterranean Grille today announced on social media that after nearly three decades of serving the Charleston community, the restaurant is under new ownership and will cease operations as Manny’s.

Owner Michael Stavrinakis said the following on the restaurant’s Facebook page:

“We would first like to thank our loyal customers for nearly 3 decades of support. Without you. none of what we have done to transform this location and become a vibrant part of the West Ashley community would have been possible.

Also, big thanks to go out to our staff as well. No restaurant can last for as long as Manny’s has without a crew of dedicated employees. All of you should be seeing them again soon as the new operators will be offering them positions to stay in the neighborhood if they so choose.

It was a difficult decision to move on but in the end much has changed in our personal lives over the course of three decades. Like all things there is a time for change and this was both the time and the opportunity for change in our lives.

It was also important to us to see a liable replacement take over this space and ensure quality dining opportunities for our customers and an employment opportunity for our staff. We think both will be fulfilled.”

Manny’s was located at 1680 Old Towne Road in West Ashley.
