Danny McBride Talks About Bowling with John Goodman in Charleston on “Late Night”

Published

Actor, comedian, writer, and Charleston resident Danny McBride was a guest this week on Late Night with Seth Meyers to promote The Righteous Gemstones, a HBO series that was filmed throughout the Charleston area.

McBride two years ago moved from Los Angeles to Charleston and has filmed several projects in the area including Vice Principals, Halloween, and the aforementioned The Righteous Gemstones.

Although he was on Late Night to promote the new show, the actor spent some of his time discussing other matters. McBride said he was shocked that John Goodman, who famously played “Walter” in The Big Lebowski, was not mobbed when he joined the cast for a evening of bowling in Charleston. Where did the stars knock down some pins? At The Alley, of course!
