82 Queen Hosting Four Course Beer Dinner in Final Summer Dinner Series

Published

On Thursday, September 19th, 82 Queen will close out their summer dining series with a special four-course Beer Dinner featuring playful iterations on classic meat and pork dishes by Executive Chef Steve Stone and select beer pairings from some of the Lowcountry’s most popular breweries.

The special dinner is set to begin at 6:30 pm with family-style Shredded Beef Biscuit small bites paired with Revelry Gullah Cream Ale. The dinner will officially begin with a first course of Bacon Bourbon Rillettes with Spiced Blackberry Coulis paired with Rusty Bull Dance Naked IPA. Chef Stone will present guests with a second course of Braised Beef Short Rib with Mashed Yukon Gold Potatoes, Confit Baby Bella Mushrooms, Hericot Verts and Demi Glaze paired with a Tradesman Welder’s Wheat Agave Ale. Mini Beef Wellington with Certified Angus Beef Filet Mignon, Portobello Mushroom Duxelles in Puff Pastry with Bernaise Sauce will be the third course served and paired with Westbrook One Claw. Finally, for dessert, guests will enjoy Southern Bourbon Pecan Pie paired with Palmetto Espresso Porter.

“We’re excited to close out our first ever summer dining series at 82 Queen with this creative Beer Dinner,” Queen Street Hospitality CEO Jonathan Kish, said. “Chef Stone really pulled out all of the stops with this four course menu and because our previous summer dinners highlighted different whiskeys and rosé, we wanted to put the spotlight on some of our local Charleston breweries in this dinner.”

A portion of the sales from the Beer Dinner will go towards Catch Up on Lunch, a recently launched fundraising effort in partnership with local non-profit organizations The Lowcountry Blessing Box Project, I Heart Hungry Kids, and the Charleston Restaurant Foundation, to help eliminate student lunch debt in Charleston, Dorchester, and Berkeley counties.

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here. The $75 per person ticket does not include tax and gratuity.
