Birds & Brunch at the Bennett will be a dynamic experience featuring an engaging conservation-themed program with live birds of prey, distinctive auction items, delicious brunch with open bar, and a special, exclusive raffle opportunity.
This brunch event will support avian science, medicine, and environmental conservation. Priced at $150 per attendee, all-inclusive tickets for Birds & Brunch at the Bennett will go on sale on Monday, September 16th. To put your name on a waitlist for reservations, contact the office staff at the Avian Conservation Center by calling (843) 971-7474 or by email to info@thecenterforbirdsofprey.org.
Birds & Brunch at the Bennett offers guests an intimate encounter with the Center’s resident collection of birds of prey from around the world. With the goal of raising funds to advance the future of avian conservation in the region, this annual fundraising event will include an auction featuring a variety of items.
For the craft beer or brunch enthusiast, whether in attendance or not, there is an opportunity to win a private “Birds, Brews, & Brunch” catered event at the Center for Birds of Prey for up to 40 people with beer provided by six of Charleston’s best producers – Charles Towne Fermentory, Edmund’s Oast Brewing Company, Frothy Beard Brewing Company, Holy City Brewing, Revelry Brewing, and Tradesman Brewing Company. Although the raffle will be drawn at the end of the brunch, participants will not have to be present to win. Raffle tickets are $40 each and can be purchased online or at the event.
This unique annual fundraiser provides important funding that supports the Avian Conservation Center’s ongoing work identifying and addressing vital environmental issues through providing medical care for injured birds of prey and shorebirds, and through educational, research, and conservation initiatives. In addition to the appearance of captivating avian ambassadors representing birds of prey from around the world, guests will delight in an interesting presentation while enjoying a catered brunch and bar. Tickets for this annual event typically sell out, so it is suggested that you register your name and address on the Center’s ticket waitlist, which is available on their website at www.thecenterforbirdsofprey.org.
