Hurricane Dorian Update: 9/4/19

It’s time to batten down the hatches. We should start feeling the effects of Hurricane Dorian this afternoon, and time is running out on your ability to evacuate.
This guide should help you before, during, and after the storm:
BEFORE
- Pay attention to local media and the National Weather service for the most accurate forecast updates
- Be careful when looking for info on social media
- Check dates/times on social media posts as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram tend to post ‘popular’ posts in your feed that are many hours old.

- Highway lane reversals are also in effect until 2 pm on Wednesday

- Folly Beach has limited access to the island
- Folly Beach curfew begins at midnight and lifts at 6 am Thursday morning
- While you have power, keep phones on chargers and keep battery backups charged as well.
