King Street’s Sneaker to Close After Seven Years

Published

on

Sneaker on Tuesday announced on social media that after seven years of serving the Charleston community, the hip King Street footwear store would be closing on September 28th. From now until the shop closes – or until all products are gone – everything in-store and online will be be 50% off. Discount is automatically applied online at checkout.

Owner JP Hudson said the following on the store’s social media accounts:

“After 7 years of operating Sneaker, I would like to share that Sneaker will be closing on September 28th. These past 7 years have been truly amazing, and I thank you all for your support. We had so many memorable events, pop-ups, and collaborations that were successful because of you. The relationships I have formed through Sneaker will be my biggest reward, from watching some of you grow up and get your first job to others creating their own brands/businesses. It was a tough decision, but I am ready for a new challenge in my career and in the footwear industry and am excited for what’s ahead…Come say farewell to us at the shop!”

Sneaker is tucked away in a courtyard off of 237 King Street.
