Charleston Friends of the Library Announces Dates and Times for That BIG Book Sale

From Friday, October 11th through Sunday, October 13th, the Charleston Friends of the Library will once again host “That BIG Book Sale” to raise funds for the Charleston County Public Library system. The event will be held at the Omar Shrine Auditorium in Mount Pleasant.

The 38th annual event will feature over 60,000 unique books, DVDs, CDs, audio books, sheet music, and maps for sale. Prices start at just $.50! Checks, cash, and major credit cards are all accepted.

Here is this year’s schedule:

• Friday: 9 am – 7 pm
• Saturday: 9 am – 5 pm
• Sunday: 10 am – 3 pm
  • Items are half price on Sunday, with the exception of tote bags

Friends of the Library members will be able to shop on Thursday, October 10th from 5 pm – 8 pm. To become a member, click here. The organization is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to assisting the county library by providing annual funding for more than 6,000 community programs and classes.
