The Local Palate presents 6th Annual Whiskey After Dark on October 16th
The Local Palate, in partnership with Breakthru Beverage, will welcome the world’s top whiskey ambassadors to Charleston for the sixth annual Whiskey After Dark on Wednesday, October 16, 2019. Attendees will be able to sample more than one hundred whiskeys, including bourbons and scotches, as well as craft beer at the Cedar Room in downtown Charleston.The event will also host some of the South’s best pitmasters, so guests can feast on an array of barbecue styles including old-fashioned whole hog bbq, ribs, smoked turkey, and more from James Beard Award winning Rodney Scott’s BBQ, Sam Jones BBQ, Southern Soul Barbeque, and Martin’s Bar-B-Que Joint.
Doors open for general admission at 7:30 pm for an all-inclusive celebration with live music. VIP ticket holders are invited to arrive early at 6:30 pm for early access and whiskey-blended cocktails. A portion of proceeds will benefit Charleston Animal Society.
