More than 30 exhibitors in the categories of Fitness, Traditional Medicine, Holistic Medicine and Nutrition will be showcasing and demonstrating their expertise while they talk with attendees about healthy lifestyles and wellness. Other highlights for this year’s event include fitness classes, an obstacle course for kids, puppy yoga and pet adoptions from the Berkeley Animal Center. The Blood Connection will also be onsite with its mobile blood collection unit to collect blood donations.

Admission and parking for the Carnes Crossroads Wellness Fair are free.

“We’re pleased to be building upon a tradition started by residents and business professionals at Carnes Crossroads last year,” Jane Baker, Vice President of Community Services for the Carnes Crossroads Property Association, said. “We are fortunate to be home to an exceptional array of healthcare providers who are eager to share resources and information with residents and visitors who want to learn about the many ways they can engage in healthy lifestyles.”

Participating exhibitors include massage therapists, yoga instructors, fitness instructors, acupuncturists, nutritionists, medical providers, natural product representatives and more. Sample fitness classes led by a variety of area trainers and fitness professionals will take place throughout the morning outside the Green Barn. The health benefits of pets and companionship will also be highlighted, with “puppy yoga” classes and dogs available for adoption from the Berkeley Animal Center.

The Carnes Crossroads Wellness Fair will take place at the Green Barn, located at 207 1st Avenue within the Carnes Crossroads community. For directions and further information, visit the event listing on www.carnescrossroadsevents.com.
