Petal It Forward: Tiger Lily is Giving Away 100 Bouquets on Wednesday
Charleston florist Tiger Lily will give away 100 bouquets of flowers – two bouquets each to the first 50 customers – on Wednesday, October 23rd, as part of the “Petal It Forward” program. Doors open at 10 am and bouquets will be given out until they are gone.
The “Petal it Forward” program, in partnership with the Society of American Florists (SAF), of which, Tiger Lily is a member. The downtown shop is joining hundreds of florists across the country in participating in the initiative. This random-acts-of-kindness effort is in response to the release of data by SAF showing the positive emotional benefits of flowers. University research reveals that flowers have an immediate impact on happiness and a long-term positive effect on moods.
