The Avian Conservation Center will host the inaugural “Flighted: A Beer Festival with Purpose” on Sunday, November 10th at the Center’s campus in Awendaw. “Flighted” will provide visitors a unique journey into the amazing world of raptors with a delicious craft beer in hand.

As one of the Center’s newest fundraising events, all funds from this event will provide critical financial support for their ongoing work in avian science, medicine, and conservation. Tickets must be purchased in advance and are $65 per person, $20 for designated drivers (non-drinking tickets). This is a 21 and older event and all attendees must have valid id.

The festival includes:

  • The Center’s brewery partners will offer a variety of craft beer samples and there is no limit to the number of samples attendees can enjoy
  • Birds of prey will be present and plentiful with exciting flight demonstrations and up-close looks at some of nature’s most beautiful ambassadors
  • Live music from Moto-grass, a local acoustic trio
  • Food will be available for purchase from local food trucks
