Women entrepreneurs often struggle with limiting beliefs, thinking they aren’t good enough, talented enough or simply capable of achieving great things. Hatch Tribe, a community for women entrepreneurs, is blowing up those preconceived notions of what’s possible at its upcoming Limitless conference.

This day-long event features workshops, speakers and connection — all aimed at changing the mindset of women entrepreneurs so they can achieve success. Limitless is 8 am to 6 pm on Wednesday, December 4th at Founder’s Hall in Charleston.

The conference keynote speaker is Jen Coken (right), a coach who helps CEOs overcome their self-made limitations and reach new levels in their business and personal lives. Her talk, “Are You Willing to Fail Spectacularly?,” recounts a time 15 years ago when Coken was faced with a choice: follow her heart to Colorado or stay in Washington, D.C., where she had built a successful, high-profile consulting business. She chose to move, and that one bold action launched her into a lifetime of giving up the familiar and taking a chance on the unknown.

Coken’s first book, When I Die, Take My Panties: Turning Your Darkest Moments into Your Greatest Gifts, shares her core message that everything that comes our way is meant to teach us about ourselves.

Additional speakers include:

  • Hatch Tribe Founder and business coach Hilary Johnson, who will share the five principles that help entrepreneurs build resilience and persistence in pursuing their goals.

  • “The Scout Guide” Co-Founders Susie Matheson and Christy Ford, who will discuss what it takes to launch, grow and scale a business.

  • A panel of entrepreneurs will have a conversation about what money really means and how business owners can create greater good in the world. Panelists are Karalee Nielsen Fallert, entrepreneur and restaurateur; Carolyne Lasala, former Apple executive turned venture capitalist; and Dr. Ed O’Bryan, doctor at the Medical University of South Carolina and co-founder of OneWorld Health.

“We live in an era and environment of endless possibilities,” Johnson said. “Yet, working with women entrepreneurs on a daily basis, I too often see that something is holding them back from really going for it. Whether it’s a lack of confidence, a belief that making money is a bad thing or some other limiting belief, they aren’t reaching their full potential. At this conference, we want to address many of those issues and flip the script on these lies we tell ourselves. Collectively, we can bring about greater change and positive impact on our world, but we must learn a new way of being and doing to achieve it.”

Tickets are $150 for members and $200 for non-members; ticket includes lunch and happy hour. Learn more and purchase tickets at www.hatchtribe.com/limitless. Headquartered in Charleston, Hatch Tribe provides live events, a virtual community, workshops, online training and business coaching to women entrepreneurs around the country.
