The Best Friend Program Returns to The Charleston Music Hall

Published

on

The Charleston Music Hall and National Shows 2 have announced the continuation of The Best Friend Program, a series of packages that allow fans to purchase tickets in select locations ahead of the general public.

By joining this special program, you will get the chance to buy seats in specific sections 24 hours before the general public, and the Music Hall will also send you a limited-edition Best Friend T-Shirt and sticker designed by local artist, Marshall Hudson.

Between November 15th at 10 am and December 20th at 10 pm, you will have the opportunity to buy one of the Best Friend programs. You will pick from one of two levels; The Front Row Program or The Premium Program. Each program will allow you 24 hour advance access to purchase seats for all shows (this program does not apply for shows that are rentals, Moranz Entertainment shows [including The Charleston Christmas Special], or Charleston Jazz Orchestra shows) announced during the year of your membership (approximately 150).

When a new show is announced, you will be given a unique code. You will then be able to buy a seat before the general public and venue pre-sale. You can do so by phone, in person, or by emailing the venue. Purchasing a Best Friend Program does not get you a specific seat, but will allow you to choose a seat within your chosen section. Please note you will not be able to purchase these online.

2020’s Best Friend Program will start for all shows announced after December 22nd and will last for one year from that date. 1 Best Friend Program = 1 Seat. Anyone purchasing a Best Friend Program must be a resident of South Carolina.

You have two different sections to choose from:

  • The Front Row Program
    • $300/year
    • Guaranteed front row seats in Section Pit A and Pit B
  • The Premium Program
    • $200/year
    • All other seats in the house
    • 250 seats available

Originally built as a train station in 1850, the Music Hall once housed a train called The Best Friend. This is where the name for the venue’s program came from (by the way, a replica of the train can be seen at the train museum across the street from the venue).
