Brazilian Steakhouse Chain Galpão Gaucho Coming to Charleston
Galpão Gaucho, a Brazilian steakhouse chain from Texas, is taking over 167 East Bay Street, the former home of Tradd’s. The new location is expected to be open in 2020.
According to the restaurant’s website, their menu is “inspired by the Gaucho culture and the authentic dining tradition of the Brazilian cowboy – grilled meats and fresh salads.” They boast a total of 17 different cuts of meats, ranging from beef, pork, chicken, lamb, and fish. The restaurants’ salad bars offer almost 40 different items for patrons to choose from.
Galpão Gaucho plans to open their Charleston location by next spring, co-owner Laura Harker told The Post & Courier.
