Burger lovers take note. Big Billy’s Burger Joint (5070 International Blvd.) behind the North Charleston Coliseum complex has welcomed a kid brother. Little Big Billy’s Burger Joint opened recently in Bees Ferry Crossing Shopping Center (3125 Bees Ferry Rd.) at the corner of Ashley River (Hwy 61) and Bees Ferry Rd.

Like their well established older brother, Little Big Billy’s Burger Joint serves up the same awesome, one of a kind burgers inside the shopping center anchored by the Bi-Lo grocery store near Shadowmoss Plantation. Thick and juicy certified angus beef as well as all natural, free-range, grass-fed meats that are hormone free. If you’re looking for the good stuff, and to satisfy your burger fix West of the Ashley, than Little Big Billy’s Burger Joint aims to please.

Owned and operated by husband and wife team Greg and Ellen Leonard, Big Billy’s thrive on two principles, killer burgers and awesome service. Wrap your taste buds around the Bacon, Black & Blue Burger or go tropical with the ‘I Wanna Lei Ya’ Burger’. It how burgers taste on an exotic getaway! Many of your signature favorites from the original location have found their way to West Ashley.

The only thing ordinary at Big Billy’s Burger Joint, and their new locale Little Big Billy’s is the extraordinary. Enjoy signature burgers or just simply create your own. Every burger comes with house made pickles and your choice of a side. Bring a hearty appetite, but leave the gold card at home. Most burgers range from 11-$12. Priced right for the ample sized portions.

While Big Billy’s Burger Joint with its proximity to the coliseum, and performing arts center doubles as a sports bar, their younger sibling is more about enjoying an awesome burger in a relaxed atmosphere. Little Big Billy’s is ideal for lunch with a client or dinner with the family. The fact is, Little Big Billy’s is perfect any time.

If you live in any of the subdivisions in Shadowmoss, Schieveling Plantation, Bolton’s Landing or Grand Oaks, than your just minutes away from Little Big Billy’s Burger Joint. Any and all of the apartment communities along Bees Ferry and Ashley River Roads are equally within a stones throw of a really great burger joint.

Little Big Billy’s Burger Joint is about eight minutes off I-526. Follow Glenn McConnell, make a right on Bees Ferry Road for about three minutes (3 miles) until it meets Ashley River (Hwy 61), and you’re at your burger destination. Greg and Ellen stand on the adage, ‘when life throws you a burger, than eat it!’

Early morning birds keep this in mind as well. The Leonard’s are the proud owners of The Cracked Egg, a mom & pop seven day a week brunch eatery nestled nicely on 1662 Savannah Hwy. Open 7-2pm daily, The Cracked Egg brings back memories of yesteryear, serving up a hearty breakfast alongside many of your diner favorites. If you want a break from the norm and are craving comfort foods, than The Cracked Egg will not disappoint.
