Lowcountry Land Trust Announces Flourish Line Up
Press Release
Lowcountry Land Trust last week rolled out plans for the third Flourish Conservation Summit. The community-centric event, to be held January 23rd, 2020 at the Eternal Father of the Sea Chapel on the old Charleston Navy Base, is designed to explore the intersection of business and conservation and will include a specific focus on tourism and conservation and innovative business sustainability. The 2020 Flourish will feature Orvis Company Chairman of the Board, Perk Perkins as the keynote speaker.
“Flourish is fresh thinking about community conservation — an approach to preserving precious lands, waterways, and ways of life — that begins with connecting people to the land, and one another,” Lowcountry Land Trust board member and Flourish Council Chair Stan Gray said. “The Flourish event gives us an opportunity to be inspired by thought leaders and to continue the conversations in a fun post-event gathering.”
Panelists include Helen Hill, CEO, Charleston Area Convention and Visitors Bureau; Albert George, South Carolina Aquarium; Jennifer Fletcher, South Carolina Department of Commerce; Becky Atkinson, Volvo; Eric McCarthy, Proterra; and Rick Crawford, Emerger Strategies.
The conservation conversations will continue over happy hour at Storehouse 7.
Early bird ticket pricing of $75 is available now through December 9 at http://www.flourishlowcountry.org/
