The Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry (CML) this week announced the return of the annual Noon Year’s Eve celebration. On Tuesday, December 31st, families can ring in the new year with a ball drop at noon, complete with biodegradable confetti.

“We’re excited to be able to provide this free and engaging programming to all the children of the Lowcountry,” Nichole Myles, executive director of the Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry, said. “Having the ball drop at noon allows both the children and the parents to celebrate a New Year’s Eve tradition together while not staying up until midnight. The kids love participating in the festivities and watching the ball drop, and the parents love to celebrate early with their children.”

This event is included with CML membership or admission. No pre-registration is required. CML frequently reaches capacity for this event. You’re asked to arrive early or plan to stay after the ball drop to play.
