Husk & Little Jack’s Tavern Among Esquire’s “40 Most Important Restaurants of the Decade”
Esquire magazine recently included two Holy City favorites – Husk and Little Jack’s Tavern – in their list of “The 40 Most Important Restaurants of the Decade.”
The publication said the following about their list: “When people look back on this arbitrary demarcation of years, these will be the restaurants that bring time-specific memories flooding back.”
Here’s what Esquire had to say about each of the Charleston restaurants:
- Husk – “Sean Brock single-handedly supercharged Southern cuisine”
- Little Jack’s Tavern – “Brooks Reitz’s neighborhood spot is proof that a throwback formula can be a sublime thing when perfectly executed”
