Save the Light’s Oyster Roast Scheduled for Sunday

Save the Light, a non-profit organization that was formed to save the Morris Island Lighthouse from being lost to the sea, will host an Oyster Roast on Bowens Island this Sunday beginning at 2 pm.
The event features:
- All-you-can-eat local oysters
- Chili from 82 Queen
- Hot Dogs and trimmings from Swig and Swine
- Chicken Bog and Desserts
- Wine from Southern Wine
- Beer from Southern Eagle Distributors
- Soft Drinks and Water
- Live music in the Creek House (enclosed) from the Shakin’ Martinis
- Raffles
- Merchandise sales
Tickets (all-inclusive) are $45 if purchased in advance or $50 at the gate. 100% of the proceeds are used to support restoration and preservation of the Morris Island Lighthouse.
