Leftovers: Tidbits from the Food & Bev Community (1/25/20)

I created the “Leftovers” series to ensure I could share as much food and bev news as possible, so here’s the latest…

1. Toast All Day
   
   • Toast All Day is celebrating its 15-year anniversary with specials that are running now through February 14th. Opening its doors on January 27, 2005, Toast All Day (originally Toast) on Meeting Street is one of the longest standing brunch spots in Charleston. Now with four locations throughout Charleston (downtown, West Ashley, Mount Pleasant, and Summerville), Toast All Day is proudly celebrating 15 years with specials like:
     • Any dinner entrée and champagne for $15
     • Free dessert with single entrée purchase
     • $1 Pancakes
     • $2 Sweet Tea Mojitos
2. Wild Common
   • On Friday, February 14th and Saturday, February 15th, Wild Common will offer a five-course dinner for Valentine’s Day.
     • $95/person
     • Reservations via RESY
     • Menu:
       • Bites
         • steam bun, maine lobster, yuzu kosho
         • agedashi tofu, oyster mushroom, jicama kimchi
         • baked oyster, chimichurri, prosciutto
         • har gow, shrimp, carrot
         • osetra caviar, creme fraîche cheesecake $45 supplement
       • First
         • diver scallop, crab rice, furikake, shellfish emulsion
       • Next
         • tilefish, ‘fruit de mer boudin blanc,’ sunchokes, early spring peas
       • Then
         • snake river farms wagyu, black truffle mille feuille, purple broccoli, soy-caramel sauce
       • Dessert
         • “chocolate for two:” red velvet tres leches cake
3. Zero Restaurant + Bar
   • Zero Restaurant + Bar will offer a special Valentine’s Day menu on:
     • Thursday, 2/13
       • Six-course menu is $200 with wine pairings, Rare Series wine pairings are an additional $100
   • Friday, 2/14 and Saturday, 2/15
     • • Six-course menu is $275 with wine pairings, Rare Series wine pairings are an additional $100
   • Reservations via RESY
4. Parcel 32
   • Celebrate “Galentine’s Day” with your best girl (or guy) friends! The Parlour and Parcel 32’s Main Bar are hosting a festive party on Thursday, February 13th from 5 pm to 10 pm
     • $5 skinny cocktails, ½ priced select bottles of wine and bubbles plus $10 local cheese plates
     • Happy hour specials from 5 pm to 7 pm
     • Live music by Greg Keys and Company
     • Two giveaways including a one-month unlimited membership to Barre3 and a “Maya Chia” facial from Stella Nova Spa Salon valued at $125.
5. Lewis Barbecue
   
   • Need some BBQ for the Super Bowl? Place your orders before Sunday, Feb 2nd for pick up at Lewis BBQ (464 N Nassau Street)
6. Halls Signature Events
   • Save yourself from stressful last-minute plans and bring the best of Valentine’s Day home with Halls Signature Events Valentine’s To-Go. Chef Robyn Guisto and her culinary team have crafted the perfect dinner for two packed with romance and the Halls-quality food you know and love. Enjoy a cheese plate, beef tenderloin with a Burgundy sauce, lobster mac-and-cheese, lemon garlic broccolini, and chocolate-covered strawberries for $150. The package also includes a bottle of Champagne and roses.
   • Call 843-242-3185 to order until Thursday, February 13th at 5 pm. Pickup will be at Halls Signature Events (5 Faber Street) between 1 pm and 6 pm on Friday, February 14th.
7. The Establishment
   • Wine Week is back at The Establishment. Guests can enjoy 50% off all bottles of wine from January 27th, 2020 to February 1st, 2020. Just put WINE50 in the notes section of your reservation.
