Holy City Magic Offering Two Different Valentine’s Day Experiences

It is always difficult to find a unique date night, especially as Valentine’s Day approaches. Holy City Magic, downtown Charleston’s magic theater is offering two very different experiences on Valentine’s Day weekend. 

On February 14th and 15th, Boston magician Dave Chandler, the winner of the 2014 International Battle of Magicians, will perform his comedy magic experience at 7:30 pm. At 10 pm, Chandler teams up to Holy City Magic’s resident magician Howard Blackwell for a bawdy, hilariously inappropriate show called “Classy and Classless”.

“We want to offer something for everyone,” Blackwell said. “We have our regular fun evening show where Dave will make people laugh and show them some extremely talented magic. Then we have our late night show and the gloves will come off!”

Blackwell and Chandler have been working on the “Classy and Classless” show for the past few months and plan to take the new show to national venues in the coming year.

Blackwell and Chandler are no strangers to performing together. They have performed theater shows together, they went on a world USO-style tour together to entertain the troops and the duo performed together for the Holy City Magic’s grand opening.

Holy City Magic features magic and comedy shows in an intimate venue. Adults-only evening shows will start with a cocktail hour where magicians will entertain guests with close-up magic at the bar followed by an hour and a half stage performance.
