Famulari’s To Celebrate National Pizza Day with “Fight Hunger One Slice At A Time” Campaign
Sunday, February 9th is both National Pizza Day and the 2nd anniversary for the Famulari’s “Fight Hunger One Slice At A Time” campaign for One80 Place.
The campaign gives the public the opportunity to buy a slice of pizza for those locally that are most in need. In two years Famulari’s Pizzeria and Fam’s Brewing Co., along with their guests, have donated $10,393 (3464 slices).
The “Fight Hunger One Slice At A Time” campaign is a year-round fundraiser. To participate, guests just have to tell their server they’d like to buy a slice for someone at One80 Place, or they can donate online if they’re placing a carryout or delivery order.
Famulari’s Pizzeria delivers slices once a month to One80 Place, and when other meals have been prepared for their residents at the time of delivery, they donate the remainder of the funds for food.
To keep things going, the pizzerias will match all slice donations from participating locations on National Pizza Day Sunday, Feb. 9th, 2020. Participating Locations include Fam’s Brewing Co.; Famulari’s Pizzeria locations in Azalea Square, Oakbrook, West Ashley;, and online at https://www.famularis.com
