Wine Down Wednesdays Return to Old Towne Creek County Park on 3/18
Wine Down Wednesday returns to Old Towne Creek County Park this spring! Charleston County Parks hosts this popular four-part spring series, which is scheduled to kick off on Wednesday, March 18th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
Wine Down Wednesday is a relaxing event where guests can enjoy live music while exploring this county park off Old Towne Road. Admission includes wine and a commemorative wine glass. At each event, two food trucks will be on site with items available for purchase.
The Spring 2020 Wine Down Wednesday schedule is:
- March 18th with music from Johnny Breeze and food from Mac Daddy and Kickin’ Chicken
- April 1st with music from Jacob Poole and food from Squeals on Wheels and My Big Fat Greek Trailer
- April 15th with music from Boonie Bevins and food from Socu and Madrigal’s Tacos
- April 29th with music from Sunflowers & Sin and food from Johnny Poppers and Street Bird
Advance tickets are available for $15. Day-of admission is $20 per person. Bring a previous commemorative Wine Down Wednesday glass to the event for discounted on-site admission of $15. This discount does not apply to pre-registered participants.
Chairs and blankets are encouraged. Dogs are welcome, but must remain on a leash at all times.
Old Towne Creek County Park is located in West Ashley on Old Towne Road and is open for special events only. Wine Down Wednesday is a great opportunity for the public to be able to explore and enjoy this site. Old Towne Creek features 67 acres of open fields complimented by groves of live oak trees.
