National Leaders Speak on Climate and Environmental Justice

The Conservation Voters of South Carolina, National Wildlife Federation, National Action Network, International African American Museum, and South Carolina Wildlife Federation will host a “Climate and Environmental Justice Town Hall” this Saturday, February 22nd, in North Charleston.
Held just a few days before the state’s “First in the South” Democratic presidential primary, this event will shine a spotlight on the impacts of climate change and air and water pollution on South Carolina communities as well as stress the importance of local, state, and federal action.
Event speakers include Martin Luther King III, former Flint Mayor Dr. Karen Weaver, State Representative JA Moore, national training expert Jamarr Brown, Letitia Dowling with Denmark Cares, and Herbert Rahim of LAMC.
