Woofstock: A Lowcountry Dog Music Festival will be held Saturday at the Hanahan Amphitheater
Lowcountry Dog Magazine, along with Pet Supplies Plus, The Bridge at 105.5, and 98 Rock present WOOFSTOCK 2020: A Lowcountry Dog Music Festival on Saturday, March 7th at the Hanahan Amphitheater. This all-day, kid and dog-friendly music festival will feature several bands, food trucks, and eight local rescue groups.
This year’s lineup is as follows:
- 6 pm – Drivin N Cryin
- 4:30 pm – Ken & Drew from Sister Hazel
- 3:30 pm – Lauren Morrow (Formerly of The Whiskey Gentry)
- 2:30 pm – Greg West
- 1:15 pm Gaslight Street
- 1:15 pm – Sunflowers & Sin
- Noon – Matt MacKelcan
- Noon – Emily Curtis
- Noon – David Higgins
Woofstock benefits eight local shelters and rescues: Pet Helpers, Dorchester Paws, Berkeley Animal Center, Eunoia Rescue, Valiant Animal Rescue, Hallie Hill Animal Sanctuary, Waters Edge Great Dane Rescue and Carolina Coonhound.
Advance tickets are $28, but are $40 at the gate. You can purchase advance tickets at www.woofstock2020.com. Kids 12 and under are $5 in advance and $10 at the gate. Parking is free.
Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome, and attendees are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets, but no coolers or outside food or drinks. There will be food trucks on-site, as well as beer, wine, and Tito’s Handmade Vodka.
Vendor Village will feature products from local artisans, as well as some doggie businesses. Rescue Row will feature each of the eight rescues with adoptable dogs, as well as a chance to learn more about each of their causes.
The 2019 Woofstock raised $12,000 for local rescue charities and 2020 hopes to raise $24,000 for these groups.
Gates will open at 11 am and the fun will go until 7 pm that evening. The Hanahan Amphitheater is located off Rivers Avenue and Mabeline Rd. behind Trident Tech.
