UPDATE – 3/17/20: “As is obvious at this point, all Holy City Vintage Markets — including 3/22 at The French Eclectic and 4/12 at The Park Cafe — are suspended til further notice. We hope our amazing sustainable fashion community is staying safe, staying sane, and staying home during these unusual times.
But while you’re at home, we may as well bring the market to you, virtually.
We are having a virtual market 12-5 p.m. this Sun. March 22.
The same vendors for what would have been our French Eclectic market that day will be posting items for sale (shipping only), which HCVM will be reposting via Instagram. But this isn’t just a vintage sale — none of our markets have ever been just that. They’re all about community, seeing each other’s faces, looking at beautiful things with mysterious stories, taking pictures of our yummy foods (don’t lie — you know you do it, too), and seeing everyone’s adorable dogs!
This is an invitation to all of our customers: Drop in on Instagram (@holycityvintagemarket), post a pic of you wearing vintage/secondhand — or eating homemade brunch or homemade coffee or homemade mimosas — and tagging us. I’ll repost so we can still enjoy that community aspect of the market that is, personally, so important to me and is why I love doing this! That goes for all of the vendors: we need this, and not even for just the money, but because we love the community we have created together with so many amazing people (and, your dogs).
We want to see your faces, your cute outfits, and, definitely, your dogs. Please join in, tag us, and I’ll repost. Still get to see your faces, still get to look forward to a fun event, and still get to enjoy viewing beautiful vintage things.
We know many of us are financially vulnerable and can’t be buying up stuff but we still want to see your faces. Window shop, show us your pups, and let’s have us a nice, positive time in these uncertain days. “

The first Holy City Vintage Market of the spring will be held at The French Eclectic warehouse on March 22nd from noon to 5 pm.
Attendees can shop vintage wares inside (rain or shine) and outside (weather permitting), get a tarot card reading, and grab a free beer while it lasts – thanks to market sponsor PBR.
The French Eclectic, located at 4244 Scott St, in North Charleston, is filled with vintage decor and furniture, which the busienss uses to curate vintage lounges for weddings and festivals all over the Lowcountry.
