The Break Room Donates Much Needed Supplies to Local Medical Facility

Published

Lending a helping hand is what we need to do in times of crisis and that is exactly what Cole Wadsten, owner and creator of Charleston’s first RAGE ROOM – The Break Room, has done. As hospitals are in dire need of supplies, Wadsten tabled some of his business plans and has taken the TYVEK coveralls he had in stock and donated them to a much more important cause.

Just a few days ago, Wadsten posted on social media offering the coveralls to anyone on the front lines that could use them, and he got an immediate response from Tracey Ayala from surgical services at Summerville Medical. She arranged to meet Wadsten yesterday and was able to pick up the much needed supplies.

Wadsten is also matching 100% of the purchase of a gift card up to $250. So if someone buys a gift card for $100, that means they will receive $200 worth of services from The Break Room.

“Other than it being a great time and awesome way to get in some cardio, The Break Room can be thought of as ‘hands on’ anger therapy, but the fun kind,” Wadsten said. “There’s something magical and freeing about intentionally breaking things that don’t belong to you and knowing you can’t get in trouble, not to mention not having to clean up afterward!”

Smashing sessions are booked in fifteen- and thirty-minute increments, solo or with a friend. Safety gear is included in the fees, and videotaping is allowed. Group sessions, team events, and fundraiser opportunities are possible, and hourly rates are available for music videos, commercials or movies.
