Apple Spice Charleston Announces “Box of Thanks” Program
Press Release
Apple Spice Box Lunch Delivery & Catering Co. today announced the launch of the “Box of Thanks” program in the Charleston region. In response to the COVID-19 effects on Charleston, Apple Spice has created a “Box of Thanks” program that provides an opportunity for companies, organizations, individuals, and other groups to support first responders in Charleston with freshly prepared box lunches.
How does it work?
It’s super simple – you can feed up to 200 first responders per day with a box lunch that includes a sandwich, chips, pickle, cookie, and mint – and a message from you, your company or organization thanking the first responders you’re supporting. All box lunches are individually packaged, labeled and sealed and delivered with a ‘no contact’ approach.
“Apple Spice Charleston has created a system that allows us to create delicious meals at scale to provide vital nutrition to first responders around the city on a daily basis,” Stephen Graves, owner of the Apple Spice in Charleston, said. “We are family-owned and committed to staying open to support those who need us to bring great food to them – especially our first responders.”
Apple Spice is delivering its first 120 boxes on Tuesday, March 31st to a local St Francis Hospital and the North Charleston Police Department. In addition, Coca Cola is donating 750 drinks tomorrow to give away with each lunch.
