Press Release

Apple Spice Box Lunch Delivery & Catering Co. late last month announced the launch of the “Box of Thanks” program in the Charleston region, which provides an opportunity for companies, organizations, individuals and other groups to support first responders in Charleston with fresh prepared box lunches. To date, Apple Spice and their partners have already donated over 1,000 lunches to the Tri-County area.

Now is the time to invite the entire community to join in and help with these efforts. Apple Spice Box Lunch and Delivery Company is announcing the “Power of One”. Below are several easy ways for everyone to join in.

How does it work?

It’s simple – Apple Spice is on a mission to feed 1,000 of Charleston’s finest the week of April 20th. The company will be sponsoring the first 50 lunches as they kick off this promotion. Over the next week, Apple Spice is asking the community to go online or call to place orders for Box Lunches.

Customers can call the store location at 843-564-1597, visit them online at applespice.com or use this link: Https://www.applespice.com/locati…/south-Carolina/Charleston

Once online, just select your order and use the word “Donate” for your name. The company will be counting the lunches ordered and updating the community on a daily basis on Facebook and Instagram.

You can feed as many first responders as you would like with a box lunch that includes a sandwich, chips, pickle, cookie, and mint – and Apple Spice will be adding a special message thanking the first responders you’re supporting. All box lunches are individually packaged, labeled and sealed and delivered with a ‘no contact’ approach.

“Apple Spice Charleston has created a system that allows us to create delicious meals at scale to provide vital nutrition to first responders around the city on a daily basis,” Stephen Graves, owner of the Apple Spice in Charleston, said. “We are family-owned and committed to staying open to support those who need us to bring great food to them – especially our first responders.”

Apple Spice delivered its first 1,000 boxes over the past two weeks to area hospitals and First Responders. In addition, Coca Cola is donated 750 drinks to give away with each lunch.
