WestEdge Apartment Communities Donate Lunch for First Responders

Published

on

The new 10 WestEdge highrise community, located in Charleston’s WestEdge neighborhood, donated lunch for 120 local first responders who are working tirelessly to keep the community safe from COVID-19.

The apartment communities wanted to show their support for the neighboring Police Department that is located just behind the WestEdge neighborhood. So, on Wednesday, April 15th, they donated lunch for 80 police officers.

They also provided lunch for the firefighters at four downtown fire departments. They partnered with the new WestEdge Jimmy John’s location to deliver subs, chips, and cookies to the Meeting St, Coming St, Huger St. and King St. fire departments.

Residents of 10 WestEdge and Caroline wanted to honor and encourage the brave firefighters and police officers who are risking their lives to help keep us safe during this uncertain time.
