Press Release

CHD Interiors has reopened their retail and design showrooms in Mount Pleasant and Murrells Inlet in accordance with Governor McMasters’ order lifting restrictions on retail businesses. To ensure the safety of customers and staff, CHD is implementing rigorous social distancing and cleaning/sanitizing protocols based on CDC guidelines.

“We are excited to be able to open our stores again but, like everyone else, we are being very cautious,” CHD owner and lead designer Lance Griffith said. “Our top priority is still the health and safety of our customers, our team, and our community so we are prepared to be extremely vigilant in preserving their safety.”

Some of the protocols in place include: Limiting the number of people in the showroom at one time; Disinfecting and sanitizing throughout the day; Advising any staff who feels unwell or who has been in contact with someone who may be sick to stay out of work for a minimum of two weeks; Offering front porch or garage deliveries in lieu of in-home deliveries; Offering curbside pick up; Arranging for third-party delivery when necessary.

For those who prefer not to visit in person, the designers are offering virtual design appointments and home delivery of design samples to front porches or garages.
