Chef & Legislator JA Moore Plans to Feed it Forward on May Day
Press Release
On May Day, Friday, May 1st, South Carolina State Representative JA Moore, the first professional chef elected to the state legislature, will be “Feeding it Forward.” You can order a basic lunch or a fancy one for yourself and in turn, a snack box will be delivered to one of the healthcare workers or first responders fighting the virus
You can pick up your lunch at Moore’s catering kitchen and event space in North Charleston (Lillie Ollie Catering and Event Facility, 3353 Meeting St Rd). Delivery is also available in certain, limited areas. Moore makes some of the deliveries himself.
Below is video of Moore delivering lunch and encouragement to area teachers who are trying to continue their student’s education through the barriers of social distancing and who, after having worked daily in an environment saturated in human contact, emotion, conversation and education, are now working from home, across the internet to keep the spark of curiosity and knowledge alive. That’s hard, but Moore made their next meal easy.
To order a lunch, go to the Goodsharing.net’s Feed it Forward event page and use the link to Moore’s online ordering.
This event is part of #CHS #EARTHRISING and the nationwide #Mayday2Earthday effort.
