Lacrosse Camp for Girls Scheduled for July 13th

Palmetto Lacrosse Camp, the only lacrosse camp in Charleston that is dedicated exclusively to girls, will host their next camp on July 13th from 9 am to noon at the South Coast Lacrosse Association Daniel Island Lax Ranch (1645 Oak Leaf Street). The camp is for Girls in rising 5th to 9th grades.

Palmetto Lacrosse Camp says their mission is two part:

1. To raise the level of participation and awareness of girls lacrosse in the Lowcountry
2. To systematically increase the quality of training to put Southeastern lacrosse on the map

The biggest barrier to entry for kids who are interested in playing lacrosse is the price. To combat that, Palmetto Lacrosse Camp says they have been collecting equipment donations so they may help some less fortunate families send their kid to camp.

To that end, the organization says they are looking for people to donate some of their older equipment. They are also in search of families that we can help.
