Charleston Companies Team Up to Feed St. Francis Health Care Workers
Press Release
The Nexsen Pruet law firm and Barberitos, a Southwestern Grille, are partnering to support medical professionals on the front lines fighting the COVID-19 outbreak by delivering 40 meals to Roper St. Francis Hospital in Charleston. Nexsen Pruet sponsored the cost of the meals provided to the hospital.
“Healthcare workers are the heroes on the frontlines of the COVID-19 battle,” Paul Dominick, the Charleston office managing partner at Nexsen Pruet, said. “Our healthcare heroes put their lives at risk to heal the sick. We hope this meal tells them how much they are appreciated, and that others in the Charleston area will join us and Barberitos in expressing gratitude for their service.”
Barberitos, a fast-casual restaurant located at 1739 Maybank Highway in Charleston, created lunch boxes including a burrito, tortilla chips, handmade salsa and a cookie.
“It’s important for the Charleston community to rally and support each other during these uncertain times,” Barberitos Charleston franchisee Kory Kitchens said. “We are so grateful for Nexsen Pruet for stepping up and providing free meals to the frontline workers at St. Francis Hospital.”
Barberitos is accepting online monetary donations to help feed area healthcare professionals and will then match those donations to provide twice as much food to the community heroes. Guests can make a donation at www.Barberitos.com to quickly and easily help feed community heroes during the COVID-19 pandemic.
