After a whole month of live sports drought, the largest tennis event over the last two months is coming to Charleston from 23rd to 28th June. The Credit One Bank Invitational tennis tournament will be hosted at the LTP Daniel Island, featuring notable female tennis players from all over the country. This women’s tennis tournament will be broadcasted live on the Tennis Channel, comprising of eight doubles and 16 singles.

Unlike regular WTA tour events, the Credit One Bank tennis tournament will divide 16 players into two teams captained by Madison Keys and Bethanie Mattek Sands. The competition will also feature other star players battling it out under tutelage. These players include the American Sofia Kenin, an Australian Open champion who claimed the title earlier this year.

Canada’s Bianca Andreescu will also be present after claiming her Grand Slam title last September. To complete the roster, there will be other players like Sloane Stephens, Alison Riske, Shelby Rogers, Jennifer Brady, Emma Navarro, Layla Fernandez, Genie Bouchard, Victoria Azarenka, and Monica Puig. As such, the tournament gives tennis punters an excellent chance to make cash while enjoying the bonuses available at bet-NJ. The Credit One Invitational will be the first major exhibition since the regular season was suspended before the Sunshine Double. The organizers have promised to donate half of the proceeds from the event to MUSC healthcare workers who’ve been highly elemental in organizing the tournament. These workers are also expected to ensure that there’s a secure environment for the staff and the player.

According to Charleston Tennis LLC owner Ben Navarro, this event will help in accomplishing three critical things. For a start, it’s a solid way to show the country and the world that live sports can resume for public entertainment as people continue staying at home. It also allows tennis fans and the surrounding community to support tennis professionals whose ability to compete has been limited due to a lack of opportunities.

Navaro further added that the tournament would help to show how the tennis community cares about the frontline health workers. Governor Henry McMaster as reiterated Navaro’s words, saying that the Credit One Bank Invitational is the perfect opportunity for SC to demonstrate to the world how live-sports can be safely integrated back into our culture. The governor believes that all that comes from extraordinary perseverance and solid leadership.
